Our trusted process:
The design/build process ensures that your vision and the final product are the same. We work with you through every aspect of your renovation or addition from site planning to architectural drawings, interior design decisions and construction. This seamless process helps projects stay on budget and on time with less stress for the homeowner.

Measure / As-built Conditions:
First, we document the existing conditions of the house and site to get precise measurements and surveys. We use this data to create a 3-D model of your home. This phase typically involves multiple visits to the property for measurements and surveying.
DESIGN
Next up, we’ll have a kick off meeting to discuss ideas and goals for the project. These ideas are worked into the existing 3-D model and presented to you along with site plans and elevations so you can see exactly what your changes will look like. At that point, you can make changes or revisions to the plan. This may take several iterations, but that’s OK! We’d rather take the time to get the design right before we start swinging hammers.
FINISHES + DRAWINGS
Before building, we will present any materials required by architectural or zoning boards, which is common in historic areas. With zoning approval, we are able to get started on construction drawings. At this time, we'll also work with you to select finishes such as flooring, cabinets, hardware, and plumbing. This helps us prepare the most accurate construction bid possible. Finally, we will present you with the total budget and make any adjustments necessary before building.
Construction
Once you have approved the design, construction plans, specifications and budget and feel completely comfortable, it’s time let the dust fly! One of our experienced Project Managers will be your main contact during the project and will check in regularly to give you updates and get feedback. A member of our team will be on-site whenever work is being done - even if it’s by one of our subcontractors or vendors. We don’t finish a project until you are completely happy with the results. Once you are - it’s time to move into and enjoy your new space!
ENJOY YOUR NEW HOME
You're now ready to move back into the renovated areas of your home. We make sure to leave your home as clean as the day we arrived, so you have nothing to do but enjoy the space. If anything should come up, we stand by our work and offer a one-year warranty on all projects.
